Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI)

It is the most common inspection and it should be mandatory for all your shipments!

The PSI or FRI (Final Random Inspection) takes place when 80% of the production is reached and packed into export cartons.

This inspection covers: product appearance (AQL), workmanship quality, size measurements, weight check, functionality assortment, accessories, labeling & logos, packaging, packing and other tests and special requirements, depending on the product and the export market.

Our team of inspectors chooses a specific quantity of completed products - quantity according to AQL tables - and inspects them according to your specifications, requirements and according to our protocols and expertise.

After completion of the inspection, a fully detailed inspection report with pictures and comments is sent to you. Then you are able to Accept or Reject your shipment online.

In case of a failed inspection you should consider using our Defect Sorting Service and ask for a Re-inspection. For some tricky shipments you might also consider a full carton/ products Inspection. We also help you to find solutions with your supplier.

During Production Inspection (DPI):

Take the adequate corrective actions before it is too late!

The During Production Inspection usually takes place when production reaches approximately 20% to maximum 50% of the total production. A close follow up of the production status is necessary with the factory.

The During Production Inspection, like the PSI, covers all the aspects of the product inspection but we also inspect: raw materials, unfinished products and check the planning of production.

This early inspection allows you to detect as early as possible: any potential issue, any recurrent defect and to evaluate the average product quality during the manufacturing.

Finally, you buy time, take sooner corrective actions, avoid extra costs and secure your business.

Container loading inspection (CLI):

Make sure of what is exactly loaded in your container and how it is loaded...
Broken cartons / humidity / wrong quantity / wrong shipping marks...

This inspection will be performed in the manufacturer's warehouse or at the forwarder's premises. The aim of this inspection is to verify your products, the quantity and the loading process.

We will perform:

• an inspection of the container before the loading (container condition)
• an inspection of your products (product check according to your P/O: quantity, appearance and general quality)
• an inspection of the loading process till the closing of the container
  (cartons conditions, filling-up level etc)

Defect Sorting Service (DSS):

Make sure you have no defectives items inside your shipment

• We open your export cartons and we sort out the defects
• You choose the number of products/cartons to be inspected
• You choose the type of defects to be sorted out (critical, major, minor)
• We intervene at any time of the production stage

First-Articles Inspection (FAI):

Make sure to start the production with the right quality!

The Initial Production inspection is performed at the very first stage of the mass production. We check the first products according to your approved sample. Then, we inspect the quality of the material and components used in the production process and make sure it fits your requirements.

This Check ensures that the customer's specifications are well-understood by the supplier/factory. The FAI allows detection of production discrepancies very early in the production processes; thus you are able to take corrective actions sooner than later... saving time, avoiding extra costs and securing your business.

Production Monitoring (PM):
